Txema Yeste's first Exhibition in New York at Staley Wise Gallery /
TXEMA YESTE : CROSSROADS, will present for the first time in America an ensemble of dye transfer and gelatin silver prints illustrating Yeste’s photographer’s career in fashion. The exhibition will be on view at Staley Wise Gallery from September 12 through November 2nd, 2019, with an opening reception attended by the artist to be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Powerful and sophisticated, original and bold, Yeste’s iconic work derives its strength from a relentless passion for the medium together with a continuous will to capture images that matter.
Providing a first glimpse into the photographer’s world, the viewers will enjoy Txema’s characteristic unique choice and combination of colors, sublimed by the dye transfer process and a more classic yet still fresh and modern work in black and white.
Yeste’s enthusiasm and talent is contagious. His teams and subjects know that every project is a completely new adventure always seeking to capture sublime imagery.
